Tag management
Tag management helps organize and optimize content assets in merchant content libraries. It allows you to efficiently categorize, search for, and deliver content based on specific themes or characteristics.
Tag listing management
To manage the overall list of tags, log in to the ASAP console and navigate to Growth > Content Asset Management > Tag Management > Tag Listing Management.

Create a tag
To create a tag, take the following steps:
- On the Tag Management page, click Create Tag on the right side of the screen.
- In the Create Tag dialog box that appears, configure the following parameters:

- Tag name: the name of the tag, for example, Target audience.
- Tag code: the unique identifier for the tag. The code may only contain letters and digits and cannot be modified once the tag is created.
- Tag type: indicates whether the tag value supports single or multiple selections.
- To select multiple values (e.g., Elderly and Children) for the Target audience tag, select Multiple Selection.
- To select only one (either Elderly or Children), select Single Selection.
After you select the tag type, the Value1 option will appear.

- Fill in the tag value information:
- Code: the unique identifier for the tag value. The code may only contain letters and digits and cannot be modified once the tag is created.
- Language: the display name for the tag value in the default language (e.g., English - Children). To add a display name in another language, click + next to the text box. If needed, you can click
to remove a display name in another language. The display name in the default language cannot be removed.
- Optional: Click +Add Tag to add more tag values.
- Configure whether the tag is mandatory during content tagging. If mandatory, select YES for Required; if not mandatory, select NO.
- Click Save.
Edit a tag
On the Tag Management page, locate the tag you wish to edit and click Edit. Then, modify the tag as needed.

Activate or deactivate a tag
On the Tag Management page, locate the tag you wish to manage and click Activate or Deactivate. Only activated tags can be used for tagging and content selection.

Note:
- Newly created tags are activated by default.
- Tags that have been activated can be deactivated if necessary.
- If a tag has been referenced in content, deactivating the tag will make it unavailable for tagging and content selection.
Content tag management
Content tag management focuses on the relationships between tags and content, enabling you to assign relevant tags to content items and remove them as needed.
Add a tag
To assign a tag to specific content types, do as follows:
- Switch to the Content Tag Management page.
- Select a tab, such as Merchant or Service, and click Add Tag.

- Select a tag from the drop-down list, or enter a tag code or tag name to search (fuzzy search supported). To add multiple tags for the content, click + Add Tag.

Note:
- Only activated tags can be associated with content. All these tags are taken from the tag library on the Tag Listing Management page.
- Tags must be unique for each content type. Specifically, once a tag is associated with a content type, it cannot be added for the same content type again.
- A tag can be associated with multiple content types.
- Click Save.
Remove a tag
If you find a tag no longer applicable for specific content, remove it according to the following procedure:
- Select the content type, such as Merchant.
- Locate the tag you wish to remove and click Remove in the Actions column.

Note: Once a tag is removed, the content associated with the tag in the selected content type will no longer appear on the page of the content type. Any previously tagged content will be unavailable for content selection or tag adjustments.
Tag a merchant library
You can assign new tags to an existing merchant library if needed. The specific procedure is as follows:
- Go to Growth > Merchant Growth > Merchant Hub.
- Find the merchant whose content library you want to tag, and click Edit.

- On the page that appears, locate the tag name you created.
- Select one or more tag values as prompted from the drop-down menu of the tag name.

Note: On the Edit Merchant Library page, all of the tags associated with the merchant library are displayed. You can tag based on the tag type (single or multiple selection) configured when creating tags. For example, if you select Multiple Selection for Tag type, you can select more than one tag value for the tag, such as 18-24 and 25-34 for Age Group in the above figure.
- Click Save.
Tag content
To add tags to existing content, take the following steps:
- Navigate to Growth > Content Asset Management > Supply Management.
- Select a service or any other content type and click Edit.

- On the page that appears, locate the tag name you created.
- Select one or more tag values as prompted from the drop-down menu of the tag name.

Note: On the editing page, all tags associated with the content type are displayed. You can tag based on the tag type (single or multiple selection) configured when creating tags. For example, if you select Single Selection for Tag type, you can select only one tag value for the tag.
- Click Save.
Batch add tags
ASAP allows you to add multiple tags for merchant libraries or content assets at a time. To perform batch tagging, take the following steps:
- Log in to the ASAP console.
- Navigate to the screen for batch tagging.
- To add tags for merchant libraries, go to Growth > Merchant Growth > Merchant Hub, and click Batch Add Tags on the right.

- To add tags for content assets such as services, go to Growth > Content Asset Management > Supply Management, select Service, and click Batch Add Tags on the right.

- In the Batch Add Tags dialog box that appears, click Download to download the template file, and then fill in the template file as needed.
The template file contains the following required fields:
- Content ID: the externally sourced content ID
- tag code: the tag code you entered when creating a tag
- tag value: the code of the tag value you entered when creating a tag
- Upload the modified file and click Batch Add.

During the upload, the system checks whether the filled information complies with requirements.
- If compliance is confirmed, the system starts to import the tags.
- If compliance is not met, the file upload fails, and the system prompts an error message. You can download the file to view the list of incorrect IDs or tag codes, correct them as indicated, and then re-upload the file.

- Check the import progress. If an error message appears indicating that some tags failed to be imported, you can click Retry or End Task.

- Retry: The system retries to import the failed tags.
- End Task: The system displays a "Failed to upload" message and provides a download link to a file that highlights failed tags and describes failure causes.

If the system displays a message indicating the content already has tags added:
- For tags of the Multiple Selection type: Append new tag values, replace existing tag values, skip uploading the new values, or cancel the upload.
- For tags of the Single Selection type: Replace existing tag values, skip uploading the new values, or cancel the upload.
Note: You can run only one batch tagging task at a time per wallet.
