Workspace member roles

The platform uses multiple member roles to enable secure, collaborative development, and efficient management of mini programs.

This topic describes the member roles available in a tenant workspace.

Overview

A role is a set of defined access permissions assigned to members when they join a workspace. It determines what actions a member can perform in the workspace on Mini Program Platform.

Tenant workspace admins can manage members and the roles of the members.

Workspace member roles

A tenant workspace has five roles that can be assigned to members. Each role in a tenant space has distinct responsibilities to ensure platform governance, development, and compliance.

  • Workspace Admin: Super administrator with full control over workspace configurations and mini program lifecycle management.
    • Key responsibilities:
      • Onboarding: Typically the first user to join the platform and invite new members.
      • Member management: Invites new members to the workspace, assigns roles to the members, blocks members, and deletes members.
      • Workspace management: Manages the tenant workspace and merchant workspaces, such as viewing workspace information and removing workspaces, and configures settings of the tenant workspace.
      • Access control: Grants access to the tenant workspace and wallet mini programs.
      • Compliance oversight: Monitors adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Workspace Reviewer: Compliance officer for super app and merchant requests.
