Remove mini programs

Removing a mini program removes it from a specific target channel (also known as "target app"), without deleting its underlying data in the console. Use this functionality if you need to discontinue your service. This guide walks you through the steps to remove a mini program.

Before you begin

Before removing a mini program, ensure that its current status is Live.

Procedure

To remove a mini program, follow these steps:

Step 1: Submit removal request

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Shop Decoration.
  2. In the content panel on the right, click the Target Channels tab. All channels will be displayed as individual cards, each showing the channel name, the current status of the mini program in that channel, and available operations to the mini program.
  3. Locate the card for the channel from which you want to remove the mini program, and click Request Removal.
  4. On the confirmation popup that appears, click Submit to submit the request to the super app for review. The mini program status on the card then changes to Pending Removal Review.

Step 2: Check request status

You can check the result of your removal request in your account's email inbox. The result is sent once the super app completes processing your request.

Based on the request result:

  • If the request is approved, the mini program is removed successfully and no further action is required.
  • If the request is rejected, address the issues noted in the rejection reason. Then, resubmit a removal request.
