Learn how to download and log in to Mini Program Studio, the IDE for developing mini programs.
Download and install
To download and install the IDE, follow these steps:
Step 1: Download the IDE
- Open Mini Program Platform.
- Go to the Resources section and find Mini Program Studio.
- Determine the appropriate version based on your operating system and hardware (macOS with Apple silicon, macOS with Intel, or Windows), and then click Download next to it to get the latest release.
Tip: If you need an earlier version (for compatibility or business requirements), click More Versions to view and download previous releases.
Step 2: Install the IDE
Install the IDE based on your operating system:
For macOS
- Locate the downloaded installation file on your computer.
- Double-click the file. This will open a new window showing the Mini Program Studio app icon.
- Drag the app icon into the Applications folder shortcut.
You can now use Spotlight to search for and launch Mini Program Studio to start developing.
For Windows
- Locate the downloaded installation file on your computer.
- Double-click the file to launch the installation wizard.
- Select your installation option (Install for all users or Install for me only) or use the default selection, and click Next to continue.
- Select an installation location or use the default folder, then click Install.
- When the installation is complete, a confirmation dialog appears. Click Finish to exit the wizard.
You can now launch Mini Program Studio and start developing.
Log in
Before you begin
Make sure you meet the following requirements:
- Platform account: You have a registered account in Mini Program Platform.
- Required access: Your account must belong to a workspace with the following assigned:
- Workspace role: Admin or developer
- DSL mini programs: The specific mini programs you need to develop
Steps
To log in to the IDE, follow these steps:
- Launch Mini Program Studio (IDE) on your computer.
- In the login dialog that appears, enter your Mini Program Platform account credentials (email and password).
- Click Log In.
