Create an audience

With this topic, you can learn how to create a target audience for your marketing campaigns and tasks.

Before you start

  1. Log in to Mini Program Platform.
  2. Navigate to Operation > Audience.

Procedures

Step 1: Choose mini program

Choose a mini program and Click Create Audience - By Label.

Step 2: Configure basic information

  1. You are navigated to the Create Target Audience page. Specify the following information:

  • Audience Name: Enter a name for the audience (within 100 characters).
  • Mini Program: The mini program you selected.
  • Group: A group is a batch of audiences with defined labels.
    • Group 1: To add specific criteria to Group 1, select from Audience Criteria and click on one or more specific criteria to finish label configuration, for example, os_type, which means the operating system, iOS or Android. Then click Add.

    • (Optional) More group: To add more groups, click Add Group, then follow the above step to add one or more criteria to the groups. Click Delete to delete a specific group immediately.

  • Calculate Audience Size: To calculate the audience size based on the groups you just configured, click the rotating arrow button. Note: Only the audiences with the criteria marked "T+1" are calculated.

  • Update Type: Choose the update type for your audience groups:
    • Once: The number of audiences is updated once, which means these users will be the target audience to receive notifications during the specified time range in a task.
    • Auto: The number of users is automatically updated, which means that today's new users will be updated to the target audience to receive notifications tomorrow.
  1. Then click Create to finish creating your audience. And you can view your audience on the Audience Management page.
