Change merchant account password

If you forgot your password or want to update it for security reasons, follow this guide to change your password. This process is completed through Alipay Global Merchant Portal, as your account credentials are shared between the two platforms.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have access to the email address registered with your Alipay Global Merchant Portal account. If you do not have access to this email, contact customer service to reset your login email before proceeding.

Procedure

To change your password, take the following steps:

1. Navigate to Alipay Global Merchant Portal and click Log In in the top-right corner.
2. On the login page, click Forgot login password?.
3. Verify your identity:
   a. On the Enter the verification email page, enter your login email and click Next.
   b. Check your email inbox for a verification message. You will receive a 6-digit verification code.
   c. In the Email Verification dialog, enter the code and click Confirm.
4. On the Change Login Password page, set a new password:
   a. Review Password Rules to create a new password that meets the requirements.
   b. In the Login Password field, enter your new password.
   c. In the Confirm password field, re-enter your new password to confirm it.
   d. Click Save.
5. A confirmation dialog appears, indicating your password has been changed successfully. Then, you will be redirected to the login page.

You can now log in to Alipay+ Mini Program Platform with your new password.
