Onboard your business as an ISV
Get started as an independent software vendor (ISV) on Alipay+ Mini Program Platform. This guide walks you through the onboarding process to set up your workspace and begin providing mini program development services for merchants.
Note: Only business owners or administrators need to complete the initial onboarding. After your ISV workspace is set up, you can invite other team members to join.
Before you begin
Ensure you have the following:
- Authority to register your ISV business (owner or admin access)
- A valid email address for account signup
- Your business details, including your company's legal name and other relevant information
Onboarding process overview
The ISV onboarding process consists of four main steps, as illustrated in the following diagram:

Step-by-step onboarding
Take the following three steps to complete onboarding:
Step 1: Create an account
- Navigate to the Alipay+ Mini Program Platform signup page.
Tip: If you are on the platform homepage, click LOG IN, then select Sign up under the login form.
- Complete the signup form with your details.
- Read and agree to the terms of service.
- Click Sign Up.
- A confirmation dialog appears. In five seconds, you will be automatically logged in and directed to the workspace application page.
Note: After creating your account, save the login credentials securely. You can log out and return to the platform at any time to resume the process. Your account remains active.
Step 2: Apply for a workspace
Note:
- Your progress cannot be saved as a draft. It is recommended to complete the application in one session.
- During application, to revise or review the information in a previous step, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Previous Step.
On the workspace application page, complete the following steps to apply for a workspace:
- Select your role
To access workspace functionalities suitable for you, confirm your role by clicking Select on the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) choice card.
- Enter business details
- Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your business information. Note that:
- The Company Name you enter becomes your workspace name.
- For optional fields, consider their relevance to decide whether to complete them or not:
- Business Logo: Upload an image to use as your workspace logo. A default logo will be used if you don't provide one.
- Website: Reviewers might visit this for more information about your business.
- Contact Number & Email Address: Aside from your account email, reviewers might use these to verify your details during review.
- Click Next Step.
- Review and submit
- Review all information for accuracy.
- Click Submit Application to send your workspace application request to Alipay+.
- You will be directed to the workspace application status page, showing that your request is under review.
Step 3: Check your application result
The workspace application review usually takes 1-2 business days. You will be notified of the result via:
- A status update in Alipay+ Mini Program Platform after you log in.
- An email sent to your registered email address.
Then take action according to the review result:
- If the application is approved, proceed to Step 4.
- If the application is rejected, read the rejection reason, repeat Step 2 to address the issues, and submit a new workspace application.
Step 4: Log in and get started
- Log in to Alipay+ Mini Program Platform with your account.
- Wait for a few seconds for your workspace to initialize.
- You will enter your ISV workspace. You can now:
- Invite team members to collaborate.
- Access ISV-specific tools and functionalities.
- Start developing mini programs for merchants.
