Delete a promotion QR code

Delete a promotion QR code when it is no longer in use or to free up capacity for new codes.

Note: Deleting a promotion QR code removes it from the QR code list, but the code remains functional. Users can continue to access the target mini program page until that page is removed from the mini program.

Before you begin

Before you begin, ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Role: You must have either of the following roles:

• Workspace Owner or Master
• Admin for the target mini program

• QR code type: You can only delete custom promotion QR codes. The default code cannot be deleted.

Procedure

To delete a promotion QR code, take the following steps:

1. In your workspace, navigate to the mini program list page.
2. Find and click the mini program that contains the promotion QR code you need to delete.
3. On the mini program details page, click the QR Code tab.
4. On the Promotion QR Code tab, find the code you need to delete. You can identify the correct code by its description.
5. Click the delete icon next to the QR code.
6. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.

A success message appears, and the QR code is removed from the promotion QR code list.

Next step

Deleted promotion QR codes still direct users to the target mini program page. If you do not want users to access that page, remove the page and related resources from your mini program.
