Edit a reviewer group
Edit a reviewer group to update its name, description, or members when your team structure or responsibilities change. Changes to a reviewer group apply to all workflow steps where that group is assigned.
Before you begin
Ensure you meet the following prerequisites:
- Access: You must be a Workspace Admin.
- Update details: Plan your changes in advance.
- Reviewer eligibility: If you need to add reviewers, ensure they are active workspace members.
- Update impact: Understand how group changes affect workflow steps. For more information, see Impacts of group changes.
Impacts of group changes
Changes to a reviewer group affect new and ongoing requests as follows:
- New requests: The updated reviewer group is applied to all assigned workflow steps.
- Ongoing requests (Under Review): The updated reviewer group is applied only to upcoming assigned steps. Completed and currently pending steps are not affected.
Procedure
To edit a reviewer group, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the edit page
- Navigate to your workspace and click
(Approvals). - Click Review Settings.
- Select the Reviewer Groups tab.
- Locate the reviewer group you need to update, and click Edit next to it.
Step 2: Edit group details
On the Edit Reviewer Group page, update the following sections as needed:
Basic Information
Update the group name or description if required.
Manage Reviewers
Modify the group members using one or both of the following actions:
- To add reviewers:
- In the Available Workspace Members panel on the left, select the users you want to add. You can search for users by username or email address.
- Click > (the right arrow) to add the selected users to the Selected Reviewers panel on the right.
- To remove reviewers:
- In the Selected Reviewers panel on the right, select the users you want to remove. You can search for users by username or email address.
- Click < (the left arrow) to remove the selected users from the group.
Note: Reviewers with a Blocked status are removed automatically after you save your changes, even if you do not manually remove them.
Step 3: Save changes
- Review your changes and ensure all required fields (marked with an asterisk *) are completed.
- Click Save.
A success message appears, confirming that your changes have been saved.
